Working with Sanctuary Secondary School has been a rewarding and meaningful experience for me as a visual designer and developer. Founded by Bantse and Keneilwe Dikgole, Sanctuary is a Christian school in South Africa dedicated to nurturing its students and helping them discover their Godly purpose on Earth. As a key partner in their journey, I had the privilege of crafting a strong and cohesive brand identity that reflects the school’s mission and values.

A Vision for Growth: From the very beginning, Sanctuary Secondary School had a clear and compelling vision: to develop students who embrace their true identity in God and excel academically and socially. I was inspired by their commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students, providing the tools they need to flourish academically and spiritually.

Crafting a Memorable Logo: To bring Sanctuary’s vision to life, my first task was to design a logo that would perfectly encapsulate their mission and values. Drawing inspiration from their dedication to Godly purpose, I created a logo that strikes the perfect balance between modernity and timelessness. The finished design is bold, eye-catching, and carries the essence of Sanctuary Secondary School’s commitment to nurturing each student’s potential.

Promotional Excellence: With the logo as the cornerstone of their brand identity, I set out to create promotional materials that embodied the school’s mission. I designed a cohesive letterhead and business cards, giving the school a professional and consistent appearance. Additionally, I crafted fliers and posters that utilized the same design elements, ensuring a cohesive brand identity across all marketing touchpoints. The school’s social media pages were not overlooked, as I designed striking cover images that showcased their new logo and color scheme, amplifying their online presence.
